Japanese General Staff represent to Military Attaché that

their information shows that there has been considerable increase

in arms traffic through Hongkong since February. Even when not

of British origin about 80% of the total of munitions is stated

to be carried in British ships and handled by British agents

chiefly in Hongkong and also in Hanoi and Singapore.
